姪っ子たち親戚も頻繁に遊びに訪れ、賑やかな時間が広がるＭ邸。それもそのはず、〈クラフトワークス〉と創り上げた住まいのテーマは「小さな平屋の遊べるおうち｣。訪れる人にも居心地良くて楽しく、通いたくなる魅力にあふれているから。
平屋造りのコンパクトにまとめられた居住空間は間取りも個性的で、完成度の高さも伺える。オーク材の床は、傷ついても味のある、温かみ感じる質感。壁にボルダリングパネルを設置した、通称「秘密基地」の部屋も特徴的だ。その遊び心は、決して子どもたちばかりに目を向けられたものでもない。
ダイニングのテーブルとイスは〈クラフトワークス〉の造り付け。間取りにピッタリとはまり、窓から望む自然風景を眺めながらの食事やティータイムは、まるでオシャレなカフェのよう。ウッドデッキをグランピング風に楽しんだり、季節のイベントを催したり。
家族以外も多数巻き込んだＭ邸の団らんの時間は、まだまだ長く続きそうだ。
